Hi - We’re glad you’re here. While your time at the Chateau belongs to you, we have organized a few things during the week. You can see a daily listing of what is going on at the bottom of this page. Immediately below are what we think are some of the cooler highlights.

Wine Tasting
Tuesday, Sept 17th 13:00 (lasts 2hrs)
Hosted by Dordogne Vineyard Tours at the chateau, there will be a wine tasting with charcuterie snacks available for everyone.
Guests start with a welcome glass of fizz during which they receive an overview of Bergerac wine country - its history, its appellations etc. During the tasting itself, guests receive a basic introduction to tasting wine before going into more detail about each wine as the tasting progresses. (topics include wine aging, organic & natural wines, grape-growing, climate change etc). The tasting is informative, relaxed and pitched at a level that ensures everyone learns something new. (Questions / input / interaction encouraged.)
Massage
Wednesday, Sept 18th
Dean Edwards, a masseur, will be available for everyone who is interested in getting a massage. He will set up in the gym area for private massages for any guests that would like it.
We’ll have a schedule set up for folks that signed up.

Friday, September 13

Kitchen and Dining Room
Meet everyone that’s arriving today for an informal meal together. Maja and Roland will have brought groceries, and anything in the kitchen is available for all guests to use.
If you have dietary restrictions and would prefer for others not to share in something specific please label it as “private food” to make things easier.
Saturday, September 14
Down the driveway and into the town there is a farmer’s market that’s worth visiting. Probably a lot of people will go to it. Maybe you will too?
Sunday, September 15
Lunch reservations off site.
We have lunch reservations at several restaurants in town that folks can take advantage of. Since getting reservations is hard last minute, we booked them for 4 persons at a time. Make a group of 4 and let us know which restaurant you’d like to visit to take the reservation.

Wednesday, September 18
Massage on site. We have a schedule set up so that you know when your slot is if you signed up. Massages are an hour with 10-15 minutes between each to let the masseuse reset the room.

Nothing planned. Take a walk. Revisit your favorite things. See something new!
