Below is a list of everyone that’s coming on the trip and how they know Maja and Roland. This is listed out so folks feel a bit more informed and aren’t walking into a vacation with fully strangers.
But also, because Maja is terrible with names and wants to make sure you have a cheat sheet for everyone’s name. :)
Maja and Roland - if you don’t know us, then likely you weren’t invited to this event.
Bruce and Tricia - Bruce and Roland went to college together, and somehow managed to stay friends all these years. Bruce hosts and runs an annual fund raising fine dining event, and rumor is that he may team up with Maja to provide an evening of culinary delight for everyone.
Goran - Maja’s first cousin, coming in from Croatia. Basically the brother Maja always wanted. Bringing along his children (and Maja’s first cousins once removed) Antonio and Leona.
Katie and Philip - Katie and Maja went to grad school together, and have been best of friends for years, traveling around the world together. Katie is coming in from Germany with her boyfriend Philip.
Daniela - Maja’s first cousin and Goran’s sister, Daniela is managing to squeeze in a short trip to join us from Germany. If anyone could pick an extra sister to have, Daniela would be it.
Julia and Nick - Having met Maja and Roland after their arrival in Zurich, these are the best of neighbors we could luck into sharing a set of penthouse suites with.
